Have always hated March...ever since I was a kid. I used to feel sorry for people born in March (still do really) as it's such a crap month weather wise and just a month when it can't make up it's mind what it wants to do weatherwise. Is it Winter or is it Spring? I definitely hate March.
I am spending March packing and moving. My life consists of work, packing and moving..either by truck (thanks Shirley!) or by carrying stuff over in bags and backpacks. At least I am getting exercise. Five more sleeps and I will be in my new place. I think I am winning when it comes to packing but there will be a last minute scramble. Having to work extra days isn't helping but back to normal on Tuesday. Yippee!!! And the extra money will help out with the expenses that's for sure.
One thing I know for sure...packing to move is sure not as exciting as packing for a trip.
Speaking of which my next trip will be out to Ottawa for our annual walking convention and then on to Quebec City, Montreal and hopefully down to Vermont and Maine. Why the last two? Well of course I am on a quest to walk in all 50 states and state capitals!!! I haven't made any plans yet - no bookings made except for the place in Ottawa. I had registered for the Ottawa half marathon way back before my foot problems and I have a feeling I will be downgrading to the 10 km. But we shall see. Sadly no time for training right now which leaves me 8 weeks to train which is half the normal time I allow.....however I can't worry about that now. (along with my passport which is temporarily MIA....)
