Dogs I have met around the world - for dog lovers only!!!

Well you knew it had to come sooner and later right?  Here is a collection of photographs of dogs around the world...some are strays and others are much loved family pets.  Enjoy!!!

Stray on Manuel Antonio beach, Costa Rica - needless to say she got some of my meal.  Those eyes and those big big could I resist?

Cutie in Paris - I will leave it up to you to decide who the real cutie is here:)

Homeless person's dog, London

Me and one of the puppies at the Maharajah's palace in Keraula, India.  Parents were Simon & Simone.

Stray - pretty well fed so probably the local shopkeepers fed this dog.  India.

Another Indian stray....

I cried when I saw this dog - I fed it but what can you do.  Life can be cruel.  I found the Indian dogs to be so polite; even though they were starving they all waited their turn to be fed.  Broke my heart.

Jordanian dog and it's "person" at Petra?  Or a stray with a new friend.

Another stray puppy.

One of the many dogs at Petra...he looks pretty well fed.

Beautiful Sheena - sweet doggie that belonged to my friends  Nancy and Tom in Hay River, NWT.  RIP sweet girl.

Ben and Sunshine - my friends and hosts in Ottawa!

My cousin Miss Maggie in Lethbridge, Alberta

Mr. Casper my buddy in Chicago land.  My first and only (so far) "away" dogsit.

Probable stray in Peru

This dog wanted to come in the van with us!

Absolutely adorable dog in Peru - I called the dogs in Peru "Disney dogs" as a lot of them looked like this.

Dog in Amazon rain forest - this was a dog with an attitude.  We would hear him every night running along the banks of the river barking at everything - how he evaded the crocodiles and other things I don't know as he was blind in one eye.  A real character!

I love this photo!!!  Two sleepy friends in Lima, Peru.

Stray, Mazatlan, Mexico.  This dog was all over the street - nearly got hit so many times.

Eeee chihuahua!!!  Mazatlan, Mexico

Newfoundland dog, Bay Bulls, Newfoundland

Inuvik, NWT - didn't know if he was a stray or not.

My favourite....stray dog at Bouddhanath Stupa, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Pampered pooch at guest house in Salzburg, Austria

One of the sled dogs at Muk Tuk kennels in Whitehorse - staying here was one of the highlights of my life.

Angus the hostel dog at the Beez Kneez hostel in Whitehorse, Yukon.
Dog at the home stay in Cambodia - a guard dog, not a pet :(

A dog that hung out at the river resort in Kampot - it played with the dog below but probably a stray who gets fed by the tourists.  Obviously it's had a tough life.

Resident doggie at our river resort in Kampot having a snooze...we figure someone put that t-shirt on her a while ago and it's never been taken off.  Hard to believe but she was a bundle of energy.

Wandering dog on Rabbit Island - I think he got fed pretty well by the tourists and vendors.

Destination of the Week - London...again!!!

Okay it's a little weird to be posting pictures of London in winter when it's summer outside but it's my blog!  I am feeling very homesick for London - two months and one day from today I return but for today I will relive my last trip there.   I realize I did not share any of my photos while there as the internet was a bit wonky.  As everyone who knows me or reads this blog knows I am totally and hopelessly in love with London.  And it's a love that keeps getting stronger all the time.  As far as I am concerned London just keeps getting better and better....for the most part that is...and I can tell you the best thing they ever did was get rid of the waxy toilet paper they used to have in public toilets in the 70's and 80's.  OUCH!!!

So here's a blast from the past...well January of 2012 anyway...

This was in the city near the Tower of London - a parking meter executioner!
