All I can say is wow wow and wow. What a fabulous day out it was. The day started out with rain so I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. I took a Rabbies tour which used a van that held 18 - there were 15 of us. Our driver, John McDermitt was fantastic and entertained us with music and stories. Such an enjoyable day.
Highlights were the town of Invermory, the brooding hills of Glencoe, the ruins of Kilchurn Castle, the harbour town of Oban. The weather started out badly but the sun came out to say hello for most of the day and got suitable broody in Glencoe and on Rannach Moor. Our last stop was on the bonny bonny banks of Loch Lomond. Wow - such beauty. I took a lot of photographs but am too overwhelmed right now to even choose which ones to post.
Such a special day. Photos will have to wait for another day I am afraid and when that will be I don't know. I think the walk will keep me pretty busy and not sure I will have time to blog properly each night. Uploading pictures does take time and I like to be able to write a decent blog post and I think I will be too tired to say much.
So I plan to write in my journal and go from there.
Ah..okay here are a few of my favourites...
